A crystallization of Japanese craftsmanship, the Kyuyakazan Chirori, serves as a chilled sake vessel. Ice is placed in the center to chill the entire contents.

♦ Purpose:
　It is used for Japanese sake and various chilled alcoholic beverages.

♦ Size:
　Approximately 175mm in height, 130mm in height (150mm including the handle),
   and  a capacity of 360ml.

Initially, we introduced wine cups that combined Kutani ware with metal in 1991. This marked the first time Kutani ware adorned tables as "Western tableware" rather than traditional "Japanese-style tableware." However, at that time, the joining technology did not allow for the combination of Kutani ware with glass. Therefore, our president, Mr. Shimizu, dedicated approximately three years to researching and developing joining techniques, even sacrificing sleep. This led to the creation of Kyuyakazan glass.

The strength and durability of this joining technique were highly regarded, resulting in the Good Design Award in the new field category. It has even been used in meals served during Queen Elizabeth's banquets.

   Shot Glass S Approximately 55mm in diameter, 70mm in height, and
   a capacity of 60ml.

♦ Regarding the glass component:
  The glassware of Chirori is made from handcrafted heat-resistant glass (withstands a temperature difference of up to 120 degrees Celsius). However, it is not suitable for direct heat exposure, such as placing it over an open flame.

The shot glass, on the other hand, is not made of heat-resistant glass.
